A bit more of a contemporary beast, but one of my personal favorites, UP 6936 divides the final passenger cars and E9B/steam generator from the rest of the train. For those not in the know, this locomotive was built in an order of a little under 50 locomotives to celebrate the Union Pacific's 100th anniversary, hence the locomotive class' nickname as the "Centennials." |
